The Rabbit Hole is working directly with authors and publishers to realize its vision. Virtually every major publisher has endorsed the project. Award-winning authors and illustrators from around the world will visit The Rabbit Hole regularly -- as collaborators, as presenters, and as mentors. The Rabbit Hole will become a criterion in the publishing industry as a spiritual home and relentless advocate for children’s literature, connecting contemporary and historical practice, while drawing visitors to Kansas City from regional and national markets.
We’ve shown our project to people across the children’s publishing industry. The response has been overwhelming, with one exception. Check out this highlight reel (above) featuring Jon Scieszka, Kate DiCamillo, Daniel Handler, and Brian Selznick.
