As America’s Creative Crossroads, Kansas City is becoming a leader in the creative placemaking movement. Creative placemaking leverages public and private partnerships to create strong, healthy, and diverse communities through the arts. The Rabbit hOle has this concept at its very core, as we  partnerships with important community partners including the Kansas City Public Library, Coterie Theatre, Mesner Puppet Theater, Kansas City Art Institute, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Turn the Page KC, Lead to Read, and Operation Breakthrough, among others. The Rabbit hOle is already having an impact on the local economy by partnering with the City of North Kansas City and the Missouri Development Finance Board to secure $2 million in state tax credits for the project.
