Mix-and-Match Accordion Book with Il Sung Na
Il Sung Na, children’s book creator and assistant professor of illustration at the Kansas City Art Institute will lead a workshop for adults in The Rabbit hOle’s print shop.

Design one-of-a-kind characters and display them in a Mix-and-Match Accordion Book! This beginner-friendly drawing and bookmaking workshop at The Rabbit hOle Print Shop will be led by children’s book illustrator, Il Sung Na, and Print Shop manager, Devin Goebel.
Drawing inspiration from Il Sung’s children’s books and the creators featured at The Rabbit hOle, participants will utilize a range of illustrative techniques to create their own characters. We will experiment with a variety of media, including pencils, paints, paper, and more, to create a split-page accordion books.
Please note:
- This workshop is for ages 18+
- Admission does not include museum entry.
- Workshop will be cancelled and refunded IF the minimum sign up threshold is not reached 24 hours before workshop time.
- Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that is not precious – stains and splashes may occur.
