Cooking isn’t just about following recipes! In this workshop, we will explore different ways of putting food together and create delicious snacks to eat. Then go home and make it again! 

Workshop participants will learn how to measure, chop, and cook snacks that are inspired by our favorite literary foods. We will make pizzas (from Pete’s a Pizza by William Steig), Jum-Jills (from The Funny Thing by Wanda Gág), and fruit kabobs. A parent or designated guardian must remain on-site for the duration of this workshop. 

Each ticket includes a $5.00 book voucher to use at our bookstore, Lucky Rabbit Books. 

For ages 8-12.
