Join us at this installment of Let’s Take a Dive to learn more about the textile and print work created by children’s book artists Esphyr Slobodkina, Lois Mailou Jones, Roger Duvoisin, and Ashley Bryan. Look closely at the illustrations these artists made using a variety of printing methods to create new ways to advance the opportunities of their time. 

Doors will open at 5:00 PM for drinks and socializing. The program will start at 5:30 PM with an introduction by museum co-founder Deb Pettid, followed by a curated tour and discussion in the museum. After the discussion, attendees will make their own textile monoprints in a guided craft session. Each ticket includes a $5.00 book voucher to use at Lucky Rabbit Books.

This event is open to anyone aged 21+. Refreshments and light snacks will be included.
