Sophie Blackall Limited Edition Reading is Resistance Print

As part of our ongoing print series where children’s book creators respond to the prompt, “Reading is Resistance,” Sophie Blackall drew an elephant reading over the shoulder of a a little girl. 
 
Sophie noted, "I love the idea that Reading is Resistance, but also that Reading is Irresistible. There is nothing more compelling than reading over someone else’s shoulder. Stories are to be shared, and the more we read—and listen to—each other’s stories, the more we will feel empathy and compassion for our fellow human beings, no matter how different we may seem." 
 
Sophie's print is the last in the “Reading is Resistance” print series in collaboration with The Rabbit hOle’s Print Shop.
