Programming Team and designated staff to help communicate and execute programming for
the museum. This role provides support to the programming manager to communicate with
stakeholders, coordinate with volunteers and execute programs. This role will organize with
other departments to ensure program execution. The Program assistant will work with the
Program Manager to organize programs, workshops and events at the museum for both adults
and children. This role relies on strong writing, communication and organizational skills, and
the ability to pivot easily between assigned tasks. Flexibility and a willingness to approach
every situation with a problem-solving mentality are crucial to thriving in this position.

Guest Services Associates will work with The Rabbit hOle to ensure a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional experience for museum visitors.
The Rabbit hOle is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to assist and support the museum’s guest services staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and welcoming experience for visitors. This role involves monitoring exhibit areas, enforcing museum policies, and providing basic custodial and department support. The ideal candidate is responsive, friendly, hard-working and customer-focused with a passion for literature and museum culture.
Max's Kansas City PT/FT Cafe Staff
Job Summary
We are looking for part-time or full-time kitchen staff for The Rabbit hOle’s cafe. The cafe, known as “Max’s Kansas City”, features menu items pulled from the stories featured in the museum’s exhibits. Candidates for this position must be organized, willing to take direction, have an eye for detail, and have a minimum of 1-3 years kitchen experience working with a team.

Fabricator – Small Machine Builder & Electronics Integration

We are looking for a skilled Fabricator with experience in building mechanical elements to design and fabricate complex, creative mechanical and electronic exhibits for our museum environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal, wood, foam, and soft goods fabrication, mechanical assembly, and electronics; ensuring high-quality, functional products. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
