Illustration Playground: Storytelling Through Experimental Monoprints with Rahele Jomepour Bell
Discover how storytelling can emerge from texture, color, and play. This hands-on workshop at The Rabbit hOle Print Shop will be led by award-winning illustrator Rahele Jomepour Bell and Print Shop manager, Devin Goebel. Participants will explore unconventional printed illustration techniques, using materials such as India ink, acrylic paint, and acetate, to build personal visual narratives.
We’ll dive into a process that welcomes happy accidents, celebrates imperfection, and encourages experimentation as a tool for creative discovery. Drawing inspiration from poetry, memory, or abstract prompts, each participant will create expressive printed illustrations that reflect their unique artistic voice.
Whether a practicing artist or simply curious, this workshop offers a welcoming space to play, reflect, and expand your visual language through joyful exploration – everyone is a creator at The Rabbit hOle!
