¡Vamos! Raúl the Third is coming to The Rabbit hOle to celebrate his new graphic novel, Tough Times, on Saturday, March 14th at 10:30 a.m.
Tough Times is the latest from his Eisner Award Nominated World of ¡Vamos! series packed with humor, luchadors, and Spanish phrases. The rookie Kid Toro is down on his luck and has been losing to every wrestler he fights. But his coach won’t let him give up, and Kid Toro learns that when you get knocked down, getting back up changes everything.
This event will include a presentation by Raúl, followed by a book-signing. A copy of Tough Times is included with event registration and additional titles by Raúl the Third will be available for purchase.
¡Pero espera, hay más! Make your own letterpress luchador mask in The Rabbit hOle Print Shop following the presentation. This printmaking workshop is for both kids and adults. Limited tickets available for the author presentation and workshop. A copy of Tough Times is included with event registration.
