Story Hour

“The night before my father sailed, he borrowed his father’s knapsack and he and the cat packed everything very carefully.” Elmer had a knapsack filled with many important things for an adventure. Join us for an abridged read-aloud of My Father's Dragon, written by Ruth Stiles Gannett and illustrated by Ruth Chrisman Gannett followed by a knapsack-making activity in the Tons of Fun Room. Take home your knapsack and fill it for your next adventure. 

Please note: 

- Story hour tickets are $5 per child. Adults do not need tickets to accompany their child(ren).  

- Each ticket includes a $5 book voucher to use at Lucky Rabbit Books.

- Maximum 3 tickets per order. There must be one adult present for every three children.

- All adults must stay with their child(ren) for the duration of story hour and may not leave the site.

- All purchases are final. Museum admission not included.
