Story Lab Policies and Procedures
Arrival Procedure
  • Arrival Time: Guardians are required to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled class start time.

  • Paperwork and Release Forms: Upon arrival, guardians must complete the necessary paperwork and release forms. This ensures that all documentation is in order before the class begins.

  • Class Start Time: Students should be ready and settled by the time the class starts.

Pick-up Procedure
  • Pick-up Time: Parents must pick up their child promptly at the end of the scheduled class time.

  • Late Pick-up Policy: If parents are more than 5 minutes late, they will be unable to register for future programs. Additionally, any existing program registrations will be voided and refunded.

Refund Policy
  • Refund Policy: Refunds are not available. However, if notified of cancellation within 48 hours, a credit will be given for future programming.

Code of Conduct
  • Behavioral Expectations: Students are expected to adhere to The Storylab’s code of conduct, which includes respecting instructors, peers, and property. Guardians will review these expectations with their students when they fill out the parental release form before the start of class.

  • Disciplinary Actions: Repeated disruptive behavior will result in the student being removed from the class and guardians will be notified.

  • Updates and Notifications: Guardians will receive updates and notifications via email regarding class schedules, changes, and important announcements.

  • Contact Information: It is the guardian’s responsibility to ensure that their contact information is current and up to date.

Consent and Agreement
  • Acknowledgement: By completing this registration, guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with all of The Storylab’s policies and expectations.
