Illustrator & Graphic Designer
Job Summary
The Rabbit hOle is looking for a talented and innovative illustrator with graphic design experience to join our team. While digital illustration is welcome, the qualified candidate must be fluent in traditional illustration techniques as well, such as pen & ink, gouache and watercolor. This position will focus on brand and content development across all media, including print, digital and environmental media for a broad range of communications for marketing, promotional, fundraising and educational purposes.
Responsibilities
Work with Rabbit hOle’s directors and designated staff to develop and grow The Rabbit hOle’s brand identity across all media.
Work with the museum’s directors and designated staff to expand character development through illustration to develop narrative collateral for the museum.
Work with directors and designated staff on the creation and implementation of creative content for print, web, and environmental media for use in marketing campaigns, social media posts, email communications, fundraising campaigns, museum program promotions and special events.
Work with the museum’s directors as needed to help develop new exhibit collateral for the museum.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, BFA or MFA preferable.
2-3 years of professional illustration/graphic design experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe creative suite.
Ability to meet deadlines and take direction.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills.
A sense of humor.
