The Rabbit hOle will host New York Times bestselling and multiple Eisner Award–winning author and illustrator Raina Telgemeier for events on April 10 and 11, 2026.
Telgemeier’s middle grade graphic memoirs, including Smile and Guts, have defined the genre for a generation of readers. Her books draw inspiration from real life and are widely beloved for their accessible and relatable narratives. Having kept an illustrated diary since age 11, it’s little wonder that Telgemeier is able to “capture mood and memory on paper.”
During her visit, Telgemeier will discuss her latest book, Facing Feelings: Inside the World of Raina Telgemeier, which is based on an exhibition that was held at The Ohio State University’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum.
“At The Rabbit hOle one of our primary goals is to foster a love of reading,” said co-director Deb Pettid. “Raina’s graphic novels have done just that for the past two decades and we’re honored to host her.”
During her visit The Rabbit hOle will host an adults-only program, a family presentation, and a Risograph workshop with Raina.
Tickets for the three special events with Raina will go on sale March 11, 2026 and are expected to sell out quickly.
