It’s hard to believe, but 2025 will be The Rabbit hOle’s first full calendar year in operation.

This month we’re focusing on children’s book creators whose work gives us a feeling of quietude: Taro Yashima, Kazue Mizumura, Arnold Lobel, and Jon J Muth.

Attendees and special guests from around the world converged at The Rabbit hOle for its first-ever literary symposium on November 14 and 15, 2025.

This month we'll explore the work of Roger Duvoisin, Lois Mailou Jones, Esphyr Slobodkina, and Ashley Bryan all of whom designed or used textiles as part of their careers and artistic practice.

This month we'll explore the work of P.D. Eastman, Donald Crews, Jon Klassen, and Christian Robinson and their approaches to visual elements like color, typography, images, layout, and space.

My Mother’s Father's Dragon Opens October 11, 2025

Explore children’s book creators who have created some beloved variations of wonder tales including Eugene Trivizas, Helen Oxenbury, Jon Scieszka, Lane Smith, David Wiesner, and David Shannon.

This month we’ll explore the lives and legacies of creators Emmy Payne, Tomie DePaola, Judith Kerr, Margaret Bloy Graham, and Gene Zion.
